Freerk Faber is director of WTC Twente since 1 April 2009. Faber was Head of the Division “Ruimte, Economie en Wonen” of the Municipality of Hengelo before. He has many years of experience in supporting longtime economic change and restructuring projects at the municipalities of Hengelo, Middelburg and Coevorden. Freerk was closely involved in the designing and start-up phase of the WTC Twente. Under his leadership, the WTC Twente has become an important partner and intermediary for businesses from the Twente region to facilitate international activities.

Jacques BAZEN

Jacques Bazen is senior policy advisor for international affairs at the School of Business, Building and Technology of Saxion University of Applied Sciences. He is also lecturer in International economics and active in several projects related to stimulating Entrepreneurship and Regional Economic Development.
